Pocono Kayak and Paddleboard, a division of Kayak East LLC, is owned and operated by John Pagani. John has lived in the Pocono Mountains since 2003 and over the past 20 years has taught thousands of people how to kayak and paddleboard safely and efficiently. His love for the outdoors and sharing it with others has opened up a world of fun opportunities for countless people. In the winter John leads hiking and snowshoeing trips and teaches skiing in the Poconos.

John is certified by the American Canoe Association (ACA) as a level 4 coastal kayak/open water instructor and level 2 stand up paddling instructor, the American Red Cross in first aid and CPR and has been trained in wilderness first aid through the Wilderness Safety Council. Staff and guides are fully trained to ACA standards ensuring you a professional and fun learning experience.
